Taking the Wuhan Greenland Center Building as a case study,the artistic characteristics of building materials in urban landmark spaces were analyzed.It discussed the artistic features of material selection,including colour,texture,and grain.The role of building materials in aesthetic value,cultural inheritance and sustainable development was also explored.The results show that building materials play a crucial role in the construction of urban landmark spaces,and their artistic characteristics are significant for enhancing the city's image and cultural quality.
