Current situation,existing problems,and significance of waste concrete disposal enterprises in Shanghai were studied using questionnaire surveys and field investigations.Research has found that:(1)All 25 waste concrete disposal enterprises in Shanghai are private enterprises,mainly distributed in Pudong New Area,Baoshan District,Minhang District,and Qingpu District of Shanghai;(2)In 2023,Shanghai has obtained approximately 6.344 million tons of recycled products from waste concrete.Recycled coarse aggregates with a particle size greater than 5 mm account for 61.3%,while the production of recycled products in Pudong New Area accounts for 51.7%of the city's total;(3)The disposal process includes preliminary crushing,secondary crushing and screening.Some enterprises have employed additional processes such as manual sorting,iron removal,water flotation,and air separation to improve the quality of recycled products;(4)The economic and ecological benefits of recycling waste concrete are significant,and worthy of adhering to long-term development.
