With the increasing global interest in sustainable architecture,prefabricated steel structure buildings have become an efficient and environmentally friendly form of construction.However,in practical applications,how to comprehensively evaluate its energy-saving performance remains a complex challenge.This paper has studied the energy consumption characteristics and energy-saving potential of prefabricated steel structure buildings in different stages of their entire life cycle and acquired multiple key energy-saving factors involved in the entire life cycle through literature search,standard review,case analysis,and expert consultation methods.By organizing and analyzing these key energy-saving factors,this study provides a significant foundation and reference for the energy-saving evaluation of prefabricated steel structure buildings,reaching the energy-saving goals of buildings and promoting the green transformation of the construction industry.
