Compressive and Tensile Strength of Hydraulic Concrete under Different Conditions
Compressive strength test, splitting tensile strength test and compressive elastic modulus test of hydraulic concrete were carried out under different conditions. The results show that the strength performance can be significantly improved by adjusting the admixture and fly ash content. The strength at about 40%fly ash content is still higher than the reference concrete without fly ash. When the curing age is 90 days, the strength of each group of fly ash concrete with appropriate content of fly ash performs similarly to that of the reference concrete. When the curing age is further extended to 180 days, the strength of the test group of fly ash concrete is greater than that of the reference group, and the addition of fly ash can effectively buffer the rise of the internal temperature of the structure caused by the concrete spray reaction.
