Financial technology is a way to improve the efficiency and quality of financial services through technology and innovative means.Through the innovation and application of financial technology,financial technology can gradually promote the transformation and upgrading of China's industrial structure and promote high-quality development.Based on the panel data of 282 prefecture-level cities in China from 2004 to 2020,this paper analyzes the influence of financial technology on industrial structure adjustment.The results show many discoveries Firstly,financial technology can significantly promote the transformation and upgrading of the overall industrial structure.Secondly,financial technology can significantly promote the transformation and development of China's primary industry to the higher industry,and the transformation and development of the primary industry to the secondary industry is stronger than that of the primary industry to the tertiary industry.Thirdly,the promotion of financial science and technology to the transformation and development of the whole industrial structure is manifested in the central region of China,which is greater than that in the western region and the eastern region in the state.The article actively suggests vigorously developing financial technology and high-quality industries,promoting the deep integration of financial technology and industrial development,accelerating the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure,and promoting China's high-quality development.
