Evaluation of the Sustainable Development Capacity of Marine Economy in Guangdong Province
In recent years,the rapid development of Guangdong Province's marine economy has occupied an important position in the total output value of Guangdong Province.And since the 14th Five-Year Plan,the sustainable development of marine economy has been listed as one of the strategic goals,so it is particularly important to understand and study the current situation of the sustainable development of Guangdong Province's marine economy and how to further improve sustainable development.Therefore,this paper will evaluate and explore the sustainable development capacity of marine economy in Guangdong Province by using principal component analysis method from four aspects:marine resource supply capacity,economic function of marine industry,marine environment governance and protection capacity,and marine science and technology development ability.The results show that the sustainable development of the marine economy in Guangdong Province is still good,but the industrial structure and the cultivation of talents have become the two most important factors hindering the sustainable development of the marine economy in Guangdong Province.Based on above research,the paper makes suggestions for the sustainable development of Guangdong Province's marine economy.
