摘要

如今,"碳达峰"和"碳中和"是当前阶段我国面临的巨大挑战,碳减排过程中数字经济起到的作用是一个需要探讨的问题.然而,目前缺乏对数字经济和碳排放的实证研究.鉴于此,文章利用省际面板数据中数字经济的快速发展对区域碳排放强度的影响进行实证研究.根据实证分析结果可以进行判断,数字经济的发展对于区域碳排放强度的降低起到了巨大作用,经过一系列稳健性检验,检验结论依然保持稳定,没有偏差.数字经济对碳排放强度的影响存在异质性[1],总而言之,数字经济的减碳效果在中西部地区和碳排放强度较高的地区更为明显.

Abstract

Currently,"carbon peaking"and"carbon neutrality"are serious challenges for our country at this stage.The role of the digital economy in reducing carbon emissions is an issue that needs to be explored.However,there is a lack of empirical research on the digital economy and carbon emissions.In view of this,an empirical study is conducted on the impact of digital economy development on regional carbon emission intensity by using inter-provincial panel data.The results show that the development of the digital economy can significantly reduce regional carbon emission intensity,and this finding still holds after a series of robustness tests.There is heterogeneity in the impact of the digital economy on carbon emission intensity.Specifically,the carbon reduction effect of the digital economy is more pronounced in the central and western regions and in regions with higher carbon emission intensity.
