The development of tourism economy has always been a major issue attached to by the western region,but the level of tourism development in various parts of the western region is uneven,which affects the coordinated development of various regions.This paper studies the differences in the tourism economic development between regions in the western region.Factor analysis method and cluster analysis method are used to find out the influencing factors of tourism economic differences between regions.The results show that the level of tourism economic development is unbalanced among 12 provinces in the western region.The difference in adaptation and adjustment is large,as well as resistance and resilience.Sichuan's overall advantages are very prominent,and there is still a big gap between other regions and Sichuan.The development of the provinces in the western region is uneven,and it is divided into four categories according to the two levels.The first level is adaptation and adjustment,and the second level is resistance and resilience.Based on this,it puts forward targeted suggestions to improve the tourism economy in the western region and promote the coordinated development of the regional tourism economy,so as to realize the coordinated development of the tourism economy in the western region.
