智慧城市建设对企业碳排放的溢出效应研究

Research on the Spillover Effect of Smart City Construction on Corporate Carbon Emissions

"双碳"背景下,我国面临巨大的碳排放等环境污染压力.文章基于中国 2009-2021 年企业的面板数据,以企业碳排放为研究对象,采用多期双重差分法考察了智慧城市建设对企业碳排放水平的影响.研究表明,智慧城市建设能够通过促进企业绿色创新和优化产业结构来降低企业的碳排放水平.进一步研究中,文章针对此影响是否具有溢出效应进行了探究,结果表明,智慧城市建设的碳减排效应对于周边城市存在显著的正向溢出效应,且异质性检验表明这种溢出效应在非国企以及非高科技企业中更显著.
In the context of"double carbon",our country is faced with great pressure of environmental pollution such as carbon emissions.Based on the panel data of enterprises in China from 2009 to 2021,this paper investigates the impact of smart city construction on the carbon emission level of enterprises by using multi-stage differences-in-differences method,taking enterprise carbon emission as the research object.The research shows that smart city construction can reduce the carbon emission level of enterprises by promoting green innovation and optimizing industrial structure.In the further study,this paper explores whether this impact has spillover effect.The research results show that the carbon emission reduction effect of smart city construction has a significant positive spillover effect on surrounding cities.Heterogeneity test shows that such spillover effect is more significant in non-state-owned enterprises and non-high-tech enterprises.
