Inspired by the concept of convergence of neoclassical growth theory,this paper uses spatial econometric model to analyse the convergence of China's regional difference in foreign trade development quality.During 2002 to 2021,there is no σ-convergence,absoluteβ-convergence and conditional β-convergence,but significant divergence.Meanwhile,there is also a characteristic of club convergence.The differences in the quality of foreign trade development within the eastern region show a steady narrowing trend.That means convergence,but there is no convergence between regions.The quality development of foreign trade varies greatly among provinces,which hinders the coordinated development of regional economy.Therefore,we should take practical measures to enhance the inclusiveness,balance,and sustainability of foreign trade development between regions.
