In the process of comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating modernization of agriculture and rural areas, farmers'professional cooperatives play an important role and have a positive impact on farmers'income. So,are there regional differences in the impact of professional farmers'cooperatives on farmers'income? What factors influence the effect of farmers'professional cooperatives on farmers'income?Based on the data of farmers'professional cooperatives in 30 provinces, the paper uses the threshold regression method to empirically analyse the differences in the impact of farmers'professional cooperatives on farmers'income in the eastern, central and western regions and their formation paths. The results show that farmers'professional cooperatives have a significant positive promotion effect on farmers'income, and the effect is higher in the eastern region than in the central and western regions. The effect of farmers'professional cooperatives on farmers'income is affected by the level of urbanization, and its effect is gradually strengthened as the urbanization process advances. On this basis, targeted countermeasures are proposed in the light of the different development conditions of farmers'professional cooperatives in the eastern, central and western regions.Farmers'professional cooperatives in the eastern region play an exemplary role, and the central and western regions should learn from the eastern region,so as to enhance the development level of farmers'professional cooperatives and improve the driving effect of farmers'professional cooperatives on farmers'income.
