摘要

文章以重污染行业上市公司为研究对象,选取 2018-2022 年 1 003 家上市公司数据构建面板数据,建立双向固定效应模型实证分析企业环境、社会、公司治理(ESG)表现对企业价值的影响.结果表明:重污染行业上市公司ESG表现对企业价值具有显著的正向影响.研究能够促进重污染行业上市公司对自身ESG表现的重视,也能为投资者决策提供新的角度.

Abstract

Taking listed companies in heavily polluting industries as the research object,the paper selects the data of 1 003 listed companies from 2018 to 2022 to construct panel data,and establishes a two-way fixed effect model to empirically analyze the impact of corporate environment,society and corporate governance(ESG)performance on corporate value.The results show that the ESG performance of listed companies in heavily polluting industries has a significant positive impact on corporate value.The research in this paper can pay more attention of listed companies in heavily polluting industries to their own ESG performance,and also provide a new perspective for investors to make decisions.
