The exhibition industry can be associated with related industries.The exhibition industry is also called"urban development booster",because of its strong industrial association.Linyi is located in the core position of the southern Shandong Province,and the exhibition industry has developed rapidly in recent years.This paper takes Linyi exhibition economy as the research object,conducts a comprehensive review of literature,summarizes the empirical theories and research results related to exhibition economy and urban development,andanalyzes the current situation of its exhibition economy firstly.Secondly,the paper summarizes the impact of exhibition economy on urban development,urban soft power and urban environment.Finally,it puts forward five suggestions to promote the common development of exhibition economy and Linyi.
