With the development of information technology and the promotion of global digital transformation,the importance of data assets is becoming more and more prominent,especially in the oil and gas industry,where the scale and value of oil and gas data assets are growing.This paper firstly distinguishes the concept of oil and gas data assets at the management concept level and accounting measurement level,and clarifies that the scope of data asset valuation is the oil and gas data assets at the management concept level.And at the same time,it analyzes that the oil and gas data assets have the characteristics of value enhancement,sharing,controllability and quantification.Secondly,non-monetary valuation methodology and monetary valuation methodology are introduced respectively.Finally,the value assessment system of China's oil data assets is introduced in detail,with a view to providing certain theoretical and practical guidance for the valuation of data assets in the oil and gas industry and helping to release the value of data assets.
