This paper takes private listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share circulation industry from 2010 to 2022 as the research object,and empirically tests the mechanism of state-owned capital participation on green innovation through fixed effect model,intermediary model and regulatory effect model.The results show that the participation of state-owned capital has a positive impact on green innovation.For enterprises with high green development intention or heavily polluting industries,state-owned capital participation is more conducive to substantial green innovation.Financing constraints and environmental regulations have partial mediating effect and positive regulating effect between state-owned capital participation and green innovation respectively.The research conclusion has good reference value for promoting the mixed reform of state-owned enterprises,formulating environmental regulation policies and improving the green development ability of enterprises.
