This paper constructs a quasi-natural experiment based on the exogenous event of the promulgation of the Green Credit Guidelines in 2012,selects A-share listed manufacturing enterprises from 2007 to 2022 as the test sample,in which the heavily polluting enterprises are the experimental group,and the non-heavily polluting enterprises are the control group.The difference-in-difference method(DID)is used to test the impact of green credit policies on the green innovation of manufacturing enterprises.The results show that the green credit policy will promote the green innovation of manufacturing enterprises,and the conclusion is still valid after a series of robustness tests.
