Does the Certification of Science and Technology Centers Promote the High-Quality of Enterprise Innovation:Evidence from Companies Listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange
Based on the certification of science and technology centers of enterprises,this paper empirically analyzes the data of listed companies on the Beijing Stock Exchange from 2021 to March 2024.The results show that the certification of science and technology centers can significantly improve the high-quality innovation performance of enterprises with many invention patents,promote industry-university-research cooperation,and improve quality and efficiency of innovation.At the same time,the certification of science and technology centers can provide a higher improvement on non-state or non-manufacturing enterprises,but without significant correlation with enterprises'locations.The article provides a policy reference for China to make enterprises improve high-quality innovation and develop the new quality productivity through the certification of science and technology centers.
