This article explores the opportunities and challenges of data asset entry.First,data asset entry provides great opportunities for enterprises,including improving the ability to mine,utilize and analyze data,reflecting more objectively the true value of the enterprise,improving financial compliance,creating market demand,and gaining more business opportunities and competitive advantages.Secondly,data asset entry also faces some challenges,such as the problem of confirming the rights of data assets,reliable measurement of costs,difficulties in accounting treatment,and the risk of leakage.In the long run,data asset entry is the only way for accounting.So both government and enterprises need to carefully consider these opportunities and challenges when implementing the strategies of data asset entry,and it is needed to take corresponding measures to ensure the successful implementation and sustainable development of data asset entry.
