With the development of social economy,China's urban commerce is developing rapidly,while the development of commerce is one of the important factors to boost the development of cities.As a strategic development economic region in China,the development momentum of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone is unstoppable.The study of its urban commercial development has a certain degree of role in promoting the development and construction of towns in the region,which adds vitality to the promotion of social and economic development.This paper summarizes the history and current situation of urban commercial development in Beibu Gulf region,and on the basis of the investigation of the overall commercial development of several cities in Beibu Gulf Economic Zone,analyzes the issues and puts forward opinions and suggestions from the perspective of innovation and entrepreneurship to help the sustainable development of urban commerce in the region.
