Attracting investment in competitive industry is the most powerful means to accelerate the economic development.This study analyzes the practice of attracting investment in competitive industry in Luoyang using the theories of industrial opportunity,emerging industrial location,and attracting investment.It finds that there are the following problems:insufficient grasp of the development law of competitive industry,insufficient ability to grasp the opportunities of competitive industry,insufficient planning for the development of competitive industry,and the need to establish an efficient operation mechanism for attracting investment in competitive industry.It proposes countermeasures to enhance the ability to grasp the development law of competitive industry,strengthen the ability to grasp the opportunities of competitive industry,vigorously improve the ability to plan the development of competitive industry,and establish an efficient operation mechanism for attracting investment in competitive industry.The research conclusions may have strong practical guidance value for strengthening the attracting investment ability of Luoyang's competitive industry.
