Building a harmonious society has always been one of the important topics of governments and sociologists.The construction of a harmonious society means the harmonious relationship between all sectors of society,people's happiness and social stability and development.The purpose of this paper is to analyze how to promote the construction of a harmonious society at the present stage by using Coser's Sociological Theory.From the perspective of social material factor management,this paper puts forward the strategies and methods of building a harmonious society from the aspects of social and economic system,labor conditions,educational resource allocation and social equity,so as to put forward some suggestions on the great goal of building a harmonious society at the present stage.
