As major agricultural countries in the world and important neighboring countries,China and Russia have rich cooperation contents and huge cooperation potential in the agricultural field.In recent years,China and Russia have shown strong growth vitality in agricultural product trade cooperation,with a rich variety of trade items and a rising trade volume.The investment cooperation has experienced growth and changes in specific periods and is affected by multiple factors.The agricultural science and technology cooperation has been actively carried out among scientific research institutes and universities,but in the application field,enterprises are mostly the main body,lacking strong support and effective guidance from the government.Although the overall cooperation between the two countries has achieved certain results,it also faces many challenges.China and Russia should further improve and coordinate relevant policies and promote the implementation of political mutual trust in the agricultural field.Meanwhile,China should implement the"going global"upgrading strategy to optimize the layout of agricultural investment in Russia and intensify efforts to cultivate professionals in the Russian-related agricultural field,so as to deepen bilateral agricultural cooperation and achieve complementary advantages and coordinated development.
