This study explores the profound impact of digital agriculture on agricultural green productivity in Shandong Province by using detailed data from 16 prefecture-level cities in Shandong from 2010 to 2022.Using Kernel density estimation to analyze agricultural green total factor productivity in Shandong,it was found that productivity decreases from the eastern to the western regions. The study reveals that the rapid development of digital agriculture significantly improves agricultural green total factor productivity, showing a positive correlation:for every 1 percentage point increase in digital agriculture, agricultural green total factor productivity increases by 0.529 percentage points.Additionally, the effect of farmers'per capita net income on agricultural green productivity exhibits a dual-threshold characteristic, with the promotion effect of digital agriculture showing significant differences across income levels. The impact of digital agriculture on agricultural green total factor productivity also demonstrates regional and economic heterogeneity. In inland areas, the positive impact is particularly significant, while in coastal regions, the effect is relatively weaker. From an economic circle perspective, the southern Shandong and provincial capital economic zones benefit significantly, while the Jiaodong economic zone has a relatively limited impact.
