Constructing a Task-Driven STEP English Teaching Model in Open Universities:Based on the Practice of Bachelor's Degree English Teaching at Shanxi Open University
In the context of lifelong education,the main problems in the practice of English teaching in open education include significant differences in learners'English proficiency levels,lack of differentiated Eng-lish teaching models,insufficient face-to-face class time,and lack of interaction between teachers and stu-dents.The integration of task-driven teaching methods with the adult English learning process to form the STEP teaching model can help students carry out a planned,step-by-step,and goal-oriented English learning pro-cess,successfully complete learning tasks,and achieve the expected outcomes.
