An Applied Study on the Evaluation System of Writing Courses for English Majors under CIPP Model:A Case Study of Business English Correspondence and Writing Course
It is of certain significance to discuss the application of the CIPP-based evaluation system in Business English Correspondence Writing Practice course and propose corresponding teaching implementation strategy.The background,setting,implementation and effect of the course are evaluated by collecting the feed-back of the second-year students majoring in Business English in a university through questionnaire survey.The results show that students generally recognize the curriculum concept,goal setting and teaching mode,but at the same time point out the problems such as insufficient integration of ideological and political elements in the curriculum,unclear docking of national and industrial needs,and insufficient application of digital humanities tools.In view of these problems,the corresponding teaching implementation countermeasures are put forward.By constructing the evaluation system of business English correspondence writing course based on CIPP model,this study not only provides a comprehensive and in-depth perspective for the evaluation of this course,but also provides a reference for the evaluation of other similar courses.
