Comparative Study on Determination of Potassium Content in Compound Fertilizer by Different Extraction Methods
Ultrasonic and oscillation methods were used to extract potassium ions from compound fertilizer and the content of potassium oxide was determined, then the results were compared with the boiling water extraction method. The precision and standard recovery experiments were carried out after optimizing the determination conditions. The results showed that potassium ions in the compound fertilizer could be completely hydrolyzed by ultrasonic extraction for 5 min.The standard addition recovery of this method is 99.1~100.6%and the relative standard deviation is 0.31%.Potassium ions in the compound fertilizer could be hydrolyzed by oscillation extraction for 10min.The standard addition recovery of this method is 98.9~100.9%and the relative standard deviation is 0.34%.
