Study on the Determination of Organic Matter Content in Soil by Heating Method with Heavy Metal Digestion Instrument
For the determination of organic matter content in soil samples, the existing potassium dichromate oxidation method usually uses graphite furnace and oil bath heating before measurement. These two heating methods have problems such as difficult operation, uneven heating, and unfriendly environment. This article determines the optimal digestion temperature of 200℃and digestion time of 8 minutes by using a heavy metal digestion instrument heating method to determine the content of soil organic matter. After parallel experiments, the relative standard deviation was 0.22%.The relative standard deviations of using graphite furnace heating method and oil bath heating method are 0.86%and 1.70%,respectively,indicating that the precision of the heavy metal digestion instrument heating method is better than that of graphite furnace heating method and oil bath heating method, and the operating process is simple and safe.
