Factors Affecting the Accuracy of Open Flash Point Detection for Petroleum Products
The open flash point is one of the important technical indicators of petroleum products,which has guiding significance for the safety of various aspects of petroleum products.Therefore,this article mainly uses the Cleveland open cup method to determine the open flash point of petroleum products.By analyzing the storage,separation,sampling,moisture content in the sample,the position of the thermometer in the test cup,the heating speed of the instrument during the testing process,the size and number of times the flame is ignited,the distance between the flame center and the edge of the test cup,the time the flame passes through the test cup,the number of times it is ignited,the presence of flowing air near the test cup,and the ambient atmospheric pressure,the optimal testing conditions for the open flash point are determined,to ensure that the test results are closer to the true value.
