Study on the Furfural Hydrogenation over Ceria-Supported Noble Metal Catalysts
Supported noble metal catalysts,5%Pt/CeO2,5%Pd/CeO2 and 5%Rh/CeO2,were prepared on a self-made ceria support using a wet impregnation method.Bimetal catalysts,5%Pt-0.5%Pd/CeO2,5%Pt-0.5%Rh/CeO2,5%Pt-0.5%Fe/CeO2,5%Pt-0.5%Co/CeO2 and 5%Pt-0.5%Ni/CeO2,were prepared using a step-by-step impregnation method,and their catalytic performance in the selective hydrogenation of furfural was investigated.
