Research Progress of Ion Mobility Mass Spectrometry in D-Amino Acid Containing Peptides
D-Amino Acid Containing Peptides(DAACPs)have been detected in a variety of species including mammals, and have unique stability and biological activity. However, due to the lack of detection methods, there may still be many types of DAACPs that have not been discovered. Therefore,it is necessary to develop efficient detection methods for discovering and identifying DAACPs.Ion mobility mass spectrometry(IM-MS)is suitable for the study of peptide racemization due to its unique separation principle. This paper summarized the analysis strategy of peptides before and after racemization by IM-MS,and provided possible methods for the efficient detection of DAACPs.Also, the methods for predicting Collision Cross Section(CCS)were reviewed and described, and the advantages of IM-MS in the identification and content determination of racemic modification sites were summarized,so as to provide reference for the analysis of DAACPs by IM-MS.
