The Effect of PVA Fiber Length on the Tensile Strength of Cementitious Composites
In order to study the influence of PVA fiber length on the tensile strength of cementitious composites,PVA-desert cementitious composites were prepared by using 6 mm,9 mm and 18 mm PVA fibers combined with Xinjiang local desert sand and fly ash.The tensile strength was tested after 28 days of constant temperature curing and compared with ordinary concrete specimens. The test results show that the tensile strength of the cementitious composites material with PVA fiber is significantly higher than that of the ordinary concrete specimen. With the increase of fiber length, the fluidity and tensile strength of PVA-desert sand cementitious composites decreased gradually.
