Colorimetric Determination of Aflatoxin B1 in Chinese Herbal Medicine based on Gold Nanoparticles and Aptamers
Chinese herbal medicine is susceptible to be contaminated by mycotoxins during the storage and processing.Among the mycotoxins, aflatoxin B1(AFB1)has attracted much attention due to its high toxicity and carcinogenicity.A rapid and visul detection method of AFB1 in Chinese herbal medicine was established. In this method, gold nanoparticles were employed as the matrix and nucleic acid aptamer was used as specific recognition probe. The detection limit of AFB1 was 1.87 ng/mL and the linear detection range was from 2.5 to 100 ng/mL.The established method was employed for the detection of AFB1 in malt,Semen Cassiae and Panax notoginseng. The spiked recovery tests of different samples revealed that the recovery rates were between 89.1%and 109.7%,and the relative standard deviation ranged from 3.0%to 8.3%.The results indicate that this method has good selectivity and accuracy.
