Evaluation of Uncertainty in the Determination of Aluminum Oxide Content in Aluminum Sulfate Using EDTA Volumetric Method
The uncertainty in the determination of aluminum oxide content in aluminum sulfate by EDTA volumetric method was evaluated.The uncertainty mainly comes from the concentration of EDTA standard solution,the tolerance of zinc chloride standard titration solution and glass container.The molar mass of aluminum oxide and repeated measurements have little impact on the uncertainty.When the result of alumina determination is 93.8 g/L,the expanded uncertainty is 0.64 g/L(k=2).
