Discussion and Improvement on Pretreatment Methods for Determination of Ammonia Nitrogen in Water by Nessler's Reagent Spectrophotometry
In this study, the most suitable pretreatment method for ammonia nitrogen was determined by comparing the results of four methods direct colorimetry, flocculation and precipitation of supernatant, flocculation and precipitation filtration, and flocculation and precipitation centrifugation, based on the methods of Water quality-Determination of Ammonia nitrogen-Nessler's Reagent Spectrophotometry(HJ 535-2009).Meanwhile,this study also solved the problem of low supernatant volume in actual operation, explored and adjusted the feasibility of sampling volume and reagent usage to achieve the purpose of simplifying the operation, thus ensuring the accuracy of the determination results and bringing data reference to colleagues.
