Comparative Study on Different Methods for Measuring Lubricant Viscosity
In order to quickly and sensitively reflect changes in lubricating viscosity and meet practical application needs, the fluorescence emission intensity of CPA-TPA and DCPE-TPA focusing induced fluorescence probe detection methods in lubricating oil was compared and studied. The results showed that both probes can be used to detect changes in lubricating oil viscosity, and their molecular fluorescence emission intensity increases with the increase of lubricating oil viscosity. However,in lubricating oil with the same viscosity,CPA-TPA molecules with higher molecular rotor rotation resistance have stronger fluorescence emission, significantly higher than DCPE-TPA,and better response performance to viscosity.
