Study on the Preparation Process and Performance of Centrifugal Formed Composite Filter Cartridge
High temperature resistant composite filter cartridges were prepared using centrifugal molding technology, with 1#fiber,2#fiber,3#fiber,aggregate,silica sol,and alumina as the main raw materials.By studying the effects of raw material ratio, centrifugal speed, different fibers, and process parameters on the performance of composite filter cartridges. The results show that at a centrifugal speed of 1 000 r/min,the mass ratio of fiber to powder is 1:1.5,the fabric speed is 0.6m/s,and the fiber specific weight is close to 210ml(5g).After curing in a 150℃ oven for 12 hours,a composite filter cartridge with higher surface density, obvious layered structure, more uniform fiber distribution, and flat inner and outer walls can be obtained. Its C-ring compressive strength reaches 0.581Mpa,porosity reaches 80.7%,and pressure drop is 553Pa.
