Analysis of the Influence of Different Mining Heights and Coal Drawing Steps on the Mining of Large Inclined Thick Coal Seams
Thick coal seams with high dip angles are an important form of coal seam mining in China.Due to the large dip angle of coal seams, the difficulty of mining increases.During the process of fully mechanized top coal caving, different mining heights and coal caving steps have an important impact on the release of top coal.PFC simulation is used to analyze the impact of different mining heights and coal drawing steps on the top coal extraction rate during the mining process of large inclined thick coal seams. This paper established mining models with different parameters and simulated the mining process. The optimal mining parameters were determined to be a mining process with a mining height of 4 meters and a coal drawing step distance of 1.6 meters(two mining and one drawing). At this time, the top coal has the highest extraction rate and good operability.
