Improved Synthetic Process of Cinacalcet Hydrochloride
Cinacalcet was prepared from 3-(3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)propanal and(R)-(+)-α-methyl-1-naphthalenemethylamine by condensation and reduction of NaBH3CN.Cinacalcet hydrochloride was prepared from cinacalcet and HCl by recrystallization.The method has several advantages,such as mild reaction condition,convenient operation and the total yield is 62.4%.
