Research and Development of Lignin Based Flame Retardants
Through studying the progress of lignin and its modified functionalization as flame retardants for polymer materials in recent years,this paper briefly introduces the advantages,disadvantages,and principles of lignin as a flame retardant,with a focus on the testing methods for its flame retardant and thermal properties,as well as subsequent chemical modifications including phosphorus and nitrogen modification and organic silicon modification,providing new opportunities for the development of more effective lignin based flame retardants.This study aims to explore the properties and application scope of lignin based flame retardant materials,providing scientific basis for their application in various fields.
