The Application of Acetylacetone Spectrophotometry in Indoor Formaldehyde Detection
Objective:To effectively utilize acetylacetone spectrophotometry to detect indoor formaldehyde content.Method:By controlling the sample collection and experimental detection process, the recovery rate and precision of acetylacetone spectrophotometry for detecting indoor formaldehyde content were verified, and the indoor formaldehyde concentration of 6 households after decoration was tested.Result:The linear regression equation for absorbance and formaldehyde content is Y=0.004 68X+0.000 413,R2=0.999 8.The recovery rate range of three groups of 5 μg/mL formaldehyde standard solution detected by acetylacetone spectrophotometry is 87.46%~97.28%,with relative standard deviations(RSDs)of 1.25%,0.90%,and 0.64%,all less than 1.5%,indicating good repeatability. The formaldehyde concentration of 6 households after decoration meets the national standard, all of which are less than 0.08 mg/m3.Conclusion:Acetylacetone spectrophotometry is a good and reliable method for detecting indoor sodium formaldehyde.
