Effect of Moisture Content on the Relative Standard Uncertainty of Formaldehyde Emission by Wood-based Panels
This paper focused on the impact of the different ratio of moisture content of specimen on formaldehyde emission test results by commercial medium fiber board. The relative standard uncertainty of the formaldehyde emission was calculated by many experiment. The results showed with the increase of moisture content, the formaldehyde emission test values showed an upward trend, and the relative standard uncertainty of formaldehyde increases first, then decreases. In addition, the moisture content of the sample has a greater impact on the grade of the plate.According to the results mentioned above, moisture content correction coefficient should be considered when national standard of formaldehyde emission were revised.
