Method for Determining Lead and Cadmium in Soil Using Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy
Heavy metal pollution in soil has become one of the important environmental protection issues worldwide.Lead and cadmium are common heavy metal pollutants in soil, causing serious impacts on human health and ecosystems. Therefore, accurate determination of lead and cadmium content in soil is crucial for environmental monitoring and soil pollution prevention and control. This article introduces a method for determining lead and cadmium in soil using graphite furnace atomic absorption spectroscopy, with a lead mass concentration of 0~600.0 μg/L,cadmium mass concentration of 0~6.0 μg/L,in whinch there is a good linear relationship, with relative standard deviations of 3.70%and 4.29%for lead and cadmium, respectively. This method has high sensitivity, high selectivity, and low detection limit, which can meet the monitoring requirements for lead and cadmium in soil.
