Comparative Analysis and Determination of Chloride in Water by Silver Nitrate Titration and Ion Chromatography
In this paper, the determination of chloride in water is by silver nitrate titration and ion chromatography. At the same time, the sample volume, determination time, precision and accuracy of the two methods are researched deeply and analysis comparatively in this paper.Comparing with silver nitrate titration, ion chromatography has less sample volume and more determination time.Ion chromatography can be used to simultaneous detection of different ion.The relative standard deviation is 3.6%and the standard recovery rate is between 90.0%and 107%by silver nitrate titration. The relative standard deviation is 0.5%and the standard recovery rate is between 100%and 110%by ion chromatography. The results indicate that the specific measurements of the two methods both meet the requirements of quality control.
