Energy Saving Optimization Analysis of Crude oil Handover Cooling at a Certain Heavy oil Station
The oil temperature at a heavy oil transfer station in the northwest region is about 83℃,and the abnormal point of heavy oil is 48℃.After the transfer of heavy oil,it is transported to another heavy oil treatment station for mixing and then transported to the refinery. The heavy oil pipeline has a length of 8.08 km and a design pressure of 6.3 MPa.Under the premise of ensuring safe transportation of the pipeline,a heavy oil transfer station temperature reduction test is conducted during actual production and operation in summer. The feasibility of the pipeline continuing to cool down under summer ground temperature and the coldest month of winter is further demonstrated through SPS simulation software.By calculation, increasing the restart pressure under the same exit temperature conditions will further prolong the safe shutdown time of the pipeline. The summer handover oil temperature can be reduced from the current 83℃to 78℃.After implementing the cooling operation of the exported crude oil at this heavy oil handover station, the total energy consumption will be reduced, which can save about 68 500 yuan/half year in costs. The safe shutdown time corresponding to an oil temperature of 80℃during the coldest month of winter is only 6 hours. Therefore,in the coldest month of winter, the heavy oil station needs to maintain a handover oil temperature of over 80℃and no further cooling is required.
