Effects of Different Biochar on Soil Cadmium Morphology and Cadmium Uptake by Chinese Cabbage
Maize straw(MB)and peanut shell carbon(PB)were prepared from agricultural waste, and the soil cadmium(Cd)morphology and the adsorption of Chinese cabbage were analyzed by pot experiment. The results showed that both kinds of biochar could effectively reduce soil Cd content compared with CK treatment, and the soil Cd morphology changed from acid-soluble and oxidizable state to residual state.Soil available Cd content was negatively correlated with soil pH and organic carbon content(p<0.05),and the correlation coefficient was greater than 0.90.Compared with CK,the Cd content in ground of Chinese cabbage treated with MB decreased by 17.01%.The transfer coefficient of MB treatment was reduced by 9.19%,while the transfer coefficient of PB treatment was almost unchanged. Therefore,MB biochar can reduce the availability of Cd in soil, the adsorption and transport ability of Cd by Chinese cabbage.
