Analysis of Mechanical and Flow Properties of GF Reinforced PBT/PET Resin for Architectural Decoration
Increasing the content of polybutylene terephthalate(PBT)can improve the mechanical strength and other properties of architectural decoration products.Adding glass fiber(GF)as reinforcement can reduce the crystallization ability of resin and make it obtain stronger fluidity. The effect of polyamide PBT content on the properties of PBT/PET resin for architectural decoration was analyzed. The results show that when PET is added to PBT,the tensile strength of the sample is obviously improved, and the bending strength of the sample is higher after PET is added. When the amount of PET increased, the notch impact strength of the sample first decreased and then increased. When the proportion of PET added to the resin increased, the MFR value also increased significantly, but when PET was added to PBT,the MFR value increased. The research is helpful to improve the preparation of polymer materials for decorative chemical industry, and can also be extended to other application fields.
