Organic Selenium Determination Based on Liquid Chromatography Atomic Fluorescence Detection
A method for determining organic selenium in rice has been developed. This method combines atomic fluorescence detection with liquid chromatography for detection.Firstly, hexavalent selenium is reduced to tetravalent selenium using thiourea. Then, the content of inorganic selenium is determined. Finally, the concentration of organic selenium in the sample is obtained by calculating the difference between the total selenium content and the inorganic selenium content. The results show that the method has a low detection limit, good linear relationship, and both precision and recovery meet the requirements for method confirmation. The development of this method provides technical support for targeted research on selenium rich foods, and is of great significance for revealing the biological activity molecular mechanisms of selenium and specific metabolic pathways in cells and tissues.
