Study on the Treatment of Emulsion Wastewater Using Coal Slime Modified By NP-10
Non ionic surfactant NP-10 was used to modify the surface of coal slurry, and the modified coal slurry was used to adsorb and treat simulated mine water emulsion. The results showed that after surface modification with 5×10-4 mol/L NP-10,the surface electronegativity of coal slurry decreased, and the zero charge point shifted from pH=3.41 to pH=4.36.The surface hydrophobicity is enhanced, and compared with unmodified coal slurry, the contact angle increases by 17 °.The electrostatic repulsion between coal slurry and strong electronegative oil droplets decreases, and the hydrophobic attraction increases, which is more conducive to the adsorption of oil droplets on the surface of coal slurry.Compared with unmodified coal slurry, the oil removal rate increases by 26.19%.
