Research on the Treatment of Village Wastewater Using Earthworm Ecological Pond-Activated Sludge Method
In order to study the treatment effect of earthworm ecological ponds on village sewage, this paper establishes a earthworm ecological pond filtration system and analyzes the pollutant removal effect of earthworm ecological filters during the experimental period,as well as the treatment effect of earthworm ecological filters in different seasons. The research results indicate that earthworm ecological filtration treatment can effectively remove chemical oxygen demand(COD),biological oxygen demand(BOD5),and suspended solids(SS)from wastewater. After earthworm ecological filtration, the effluent element values are relatively stable.Earthworms have good removal effects on nitrogen and phosphorus in wastewater after filtration, but only a few samples can meet the requirements of Class II discharge standards[ρ(TN)≤20 mg/L,ρ(TP)≤3 mg/L].The treatment effect of earthworm ecological filtration is significantly lower in the coldest period of winter than in the hottest period of spring and summer, but the values of most elements in the water meet the emission standards.
