Design and Engineering Application of a High-recovery Process Package for DI Water System
In view of the problem of generally low recovery rate of deionization water system,a DI(deionization)water process package is developed and designed to improve the recovery rate.The recovery rate of this process package is greater than 92%,by using a high-recovery UF unit,reusing its high-turbidity discharge water in the pretreatment process section,and reusing the high salinity discharge water in the desalination process section with deeply soften and desalination.The operation result of the project shows that the recovery rate of the pretreatment section can achieve 99.5%,by using a high recovery rate of 95%for UF unit and reusing UF discharged high turbidity water.The specific measure is to use high-strength,anti-fouling UF membrane products and optimize the operation mode of the UF unit,and the recovery rate of the desalination section can meet 92%,by reusing deeply-softened and desalination for RO concentration.So it makes easy to achieve extremely high recovery rate of more than 92%for the whole DI system.Moreover,the water quality of the system production can meet the standards of high temperature and pressure boiler make-up water<0.2μS/cm,ρ(SiO2)<0.02 mg/L,and can be used as boiler make-up water in the plant.Additionally,the project cost analysis shows that the operation cost of this DI water process package is about 13 yuan(total costs)per cubic meter DI water,which has high economy.
